Die Great Yorkshire Brewery befindet sich im Dorf Cropton im Ryedale-Distrikt von North Yorkshire, England. Sie liegt im North York Moors Nationalpark, 2 Meilen nordwestlich von Pickering.
Die New Inn, im Dorf, das den Brüdern Paul und Phil Lee gehört, war der ursprüngliche Standort der Brauerei, als 1984 die Cropton Brewery im Pub-Keller gegründet wurde. Das erste gebraute Bier hieß Two Pints und erwies sich als ausreichend beliebt in der lokalen Gegend, sodass die Produktion erhöht und Lieferungen an andere lokale Pubs bereitgestellt wurden.
