Charlestown ist ein Dorf in Fife, Schottland. Es liegt am nordlichen Ufer des Firth of Forth, etwa 1,5 km westlich von Limekilns und 5 km südwestlich von Dunfermline. Charlestown wurde 1756 von Charles Bruce gegründet. Das geplante Dorf wurde in Form der Buchstaben C und E angelegt, für Charles Elgin. Es wurde als Hafenstadt für den Kohleschiffverkehr gegründet, die auf den Fife-Ländereien von Lord Elgin gewonnen wurde, und für die Produktion von Kalk. Das äußere Hafenbecken wurde um 1840 gebaut. 1887 wurde anlässlich des Goldenen Jubiläums von Königin Victoria die Queen's Hall im Zentrum des Dorfes nach einem Entwurf von Robert Rowand Anderson erbaut.
