Charlestown es un pueblo en Fife, Escocia. Se encuentra en la orilla norte del Firth of Forth, aproximadamente a 1,5 km al oeste de Limekilns y a 5 km al suroeste de Dunfermline. Charlestown fue fundado en 1756 por Charles Bruce. El pueblo planificado está diseñado en forma de las letras C y E, en honor a Charles Elgin. Fue establecido como un puerto para el transporte marítimo de carbón extraído de las propiedades de Fife del Lord Elgin, y para la producción de cal. La dársena exterior se construyó alrededor de 1840. En 1887, con motivo del Jubileo de Oro de la reina Victoria, se construyó el Queen's Hall en el centro del pueblo, diseñado por Robert Rowand Anderson.
