Das Downshire Hospital ist ein psychiatrisches Krankenhaus mit 16 Betten in Downpatrick, County Down, Nordirland, für sowohl psychiatrische Intensivpflegepatienten als auch niedrig gesicherte Rehabilitation.
Das Krankenhaus, das von Henry Smyth entworfen wurde, wurde 1869 als Down Lunatic Asylum eröffnet. Es wurde 1883, 1895 und 1904 erweitert. In den 1920er Jahren wurde es zum Down Mental Hospital und trat 1948 dem National Health Service als Downshire Hospital bei. Nach der Einführung der Betreuung in der Gemeinschaft Anfang der 1980er Jahre ging das Krankenhaus in eine Phase des Rückgangs über, und die Bettenzahl für Patienten verringerte sich von über 300 auf nur noch 16. Ein Teil des Gebäudes wurde später für die Nutzung als Büros für den Down District Council umgebaut, der dort im Oktober 2012 zu arbeiten begann.
