Potami Neas Epidavrou oder der Fluss von Nea Epidaurus. Das Tal hier wurde leicht unter Wasser ausgewaschen, sodass das Meer den tiefsten Teil des Tals mit Wasser füllt. Es ist wahrscheinlich mit einem Absenken des Küstenstreifens hier verbunden, was es dem Meer erlaubt, in die Bucht zu fließen. Diese relativ kürzliche Senkung des Küstenstreifens in den letzten 2000 Jahren kann an vielen Orten gesehen werden, wie zum Beispiel der ertrunkenen Stadt Epidavros.
