Dupiani ist der Felsen mit dem ersten Kloster, das in Meteora gegründet wurde, dem Skete der Heiligen Jungfrau von Dupiani, auch genannt das Kloster Panagia Parthenos Kyriakou. Es wurde 1347 von Hieromonk Nil gegründet, laut einer Chronik aus dem 16. Jahrhundert. Die Asketen des Skete bewohnten die umliegenden Höhlen und gingen jeden Sonntag ins Tal zur Göttlichen Liturgie im katholikon. Diese Kirche hat bis heute in relativ gutem Zustand überdauert, ebenso wie einige der Fresken in ihrem Inneren. Renovierungen fanden 1867 und 1974 statt. Das ursprüngliche Kloster selbst hat jedoch nicht überlebt.
