Es existiert eine gleichnamige Villa Lante al Gianicolo auf dem Gianicolo-Hügel in Rom, in der sich das Institutum Romanum Finlandiae und die finnische Botschaft am Heiligen Stuhl befinden.
Das ursprünglichste Gebäude wurde 1477 von Kardinal Raffaele Riario erbaut. Hierbei handelte es sich um einen Jagdpavillon für Papst Leo X. Kardinal Giovanni Francesco Gambara begann 1566 mit dem Bau einer Villa unter der Leitung des Architekten Giacomo Barozzi da Vignola. 1573 war das erste Casino fertiggestellt; ein zweites ließ Kardinal Alessandro Peretti 1587 errichten. Diese beiden Casini stellen den Mittelpunkt des Parks dar. 1656 veränderte der Adlige Ippolito Lante, 1. Herzog von Bomarzo, das Gebäude und den Park geringfügig. Die Fresken in der so genannten Stanza della Caccia des Casino Gambara werden Antonio Tempesta zugeschrieben.
