Die Concatthedrale von Ostuni, die auf dem höchsten Hügel der Stadt steht und Santa Maria dell'Assunzione geweiht ist, wurde 1435 begonnen und zwischen 1470 und 1495 fertiggestellt.
Sie hat eine charakteristische Fassade mit spätgotischen Formen, die durch Lisenen in drei Teile gegliedert ist. Der zentrale Teil endet mit einem Giebel, der aus zwei geschwungenen Bögen besteht, die Flügel mit zwei halben Mondsicheln; Giebel und Mondsicheln haben eine Krönung aus dreilappigen Bögen mit gezacktem Profil auf geschnitzten Konsolen, die sich an den Seiten und um den Querhaus herum fortsetzt. Die Fassade ist von drei eleganten ogivalen Portalen geöffnet, die jeweils von einem Rosettenfenster gekrönt werden, wobei das zentrale, deutlich größere, 24 Strahlen hat. Weitere Rosetten befinden sich an den Giebelseiten des Querhauses.
