Das Diözesanmuseum von Sulmona befindet sich in den 3 Räumen des Klosters Santa Chiara.
Es ist eine Außenstelle des städtischen Museums von Sulmona, da die meisten Werke aus den Kirchen des Valle Peligna stammen.
Werke vom Ende des 13. Jahrhunderts bis zum 18. Jahrhundert füllen die wenigen, aber großen Säle, die einst der Wohnsitz der Klarissen des Klosters waren.
Besonders bemerkenswert sind viele Werke unbekannter Künstler, die Madonnen mit Kind aus dem 15. Jahrhundert, liturgische Gewänder, die überwiegend aus dem 18. Jahrhundert stammen, sowie Goldschmiedearbeiten aus dem 14. Jahrhundert und dem späten 17. Jahrhundert.
Die aus Sulmona stammenden Werke sind rar; darunter ist der San Giacomo aus dem 16. Jahrhundert.
