Die Stagnone-Lagune wird von einer Insel namens Isola Lunga begrenzt.
Innerhalb der Lagune liegen die berühmte Insel Mozia und eine weitere kleine Insel namens Santa Maria.
Der Wasserstand in der Lagune schwankt zwischen wenigen Zentimetern und maximal 2 Metern. Eine Besonderheit des Stagnone ist, dass das Wasser aufgrund des niedrigen Pegels und der Lagunenstruktur im Sommer immer warm ist.
Bei Touren durch die Stagnone-Lagune können Sie die Insel Mozia, die Insel Lunga, die Insel Schola und die alte punische Unterwasserstraße sehen. Sie segeln mit einer Geschwindigkeit von 4 Knoten in einer durchschnittlichen Tiefe von 60 cm, während Sie bequem im Boot bleiben und Erklärungen durch Audioguides genießen.
