Der Garten, auch Villa Garibaldi genannt, wurde ab 1863 inmitten der Piazza Marina angelegt.
Der Garten hat einen viereckigen Umfang, dessen Eingänge den Hauptstraßen entsprechen, und ist von einem gusseisernen Zaun umgeben.
Unter den vielen exotischen Pflanzen im Inneren ist der Ficus Magnoloides sicherlich die Hauptattraktion .
Sie gehört zur Art Ficus Macrophylla, genau wie ein Exemplar im Botanischen Garten von Palermo, dessen Symbol sie ist.
In der Villa befinden sich Skulpturen , darunter Werke von Giuseppe Garibaldi, Rosolino Pilo, Giovanni Corrao, Raffaele De Benedetto, Luigi Tukory und Nicola Bălcescu.
Außerdem gibt es einen Teich mit Springbrunnen , um den herum Fische und Schildkröten schwimmen.
Wenn Sie an einem Sonntagmorgen dorthin gehen, werden Sie auf den wöchentlichen Flohmarkt stoßen, der auf der Piazza Marina und ihrer Umgebung stattfindet.
