Das Naardermeer ist ein geschütztes Naturschutzgebiet an der nordwestlichen Grenze des Gooi, gelegen zwischen Muiderberg, Naarden, Hilversumse Meent und Weesp, in der Fusionsgemeinde Gooise Meren. Die lokale Bevölkerung spricht seit jeher vom Naardermeer. Es handelt sich um ein Plassengebiet mit Schilfrohr, Wiesen und Moorwald. Es bietet vielen Arten von Pflanzen und Tieren, wie Purpurreihern, einen Lebensraum. Es war das erste Gebiet, das der Verein Natuurmonumenten nach seiner Gründung im Jahr 1906 erwarb, um es zu schützen, und war damit das erste niederländische Naturschutzgebiet. Das Natura 2000-Gebiet wurde am 4. Mai 2013 ausgewiesen und wurde 2005 mit dem Europäischen Diplom für Naturschutz ausgezeichnet.
