Il Naardermeer è un'area naturale protetta al confine nord-ovest del Gooi, situata tra Muiderberg, Naarden, Hilversumse Meent e Weesp, nel comune unito di Gooise Meren. La popolazione locale parla storicamente del Naardermeer. È un'area palustre con canne, prati da fieno e boschi paludosi. Ospita molte specie di piante e animali, come i aironi blu. È stata la prima area acquistata dalla Vereniging Natuurmonumenten dopo la sua fondazione nel 1906 per essere protetta, ed è così diventata la prima riserva naturale dei Paesi Bassi. L'area Natura 2000 è stata designata il 4 maggio 2013 ed è stata premiata nel 2005 con il Diploma Europeo per la Gestione della Natura.
