Das Wappen von Lienden hat eine besonders reiche Geschichte.
Das monumentale Gebäude, mit den charakteristischen Platane, ist seit über anderthalb Jahrhunderten ein Begriff in Lienden und Umgebung. Im neunzehnten Jahrhundert war das Gebäude im Besitz der Familie Stam, nach der die Säle benannt sind. Von Hotel zu Vorschule, von Hochzeitslocation zu Zahnarztpraxis: Das Gebäude wurde im Laufe der Jahre für die unterschiedlichsten Zwecke genutzt. Und auch jetzt, seit zwanzig Jahren als Restaurant, ist es nach wie vor prägend für das Dorfzentrum!
