Ens war der Name für den südlichen Teil der ehemaligen Insel Schokland mit den beiden ehemaligen Wohnterpen De Zuidert und Middelbuurt.
Ens gehörte zur Provinz Overijssel. Dies im Gegensatz zur nördlichen Hälfte der Insel, mit der Wohnterp Emmeloord, die zu Holland gehörte.
