Smalle Ee ist das kleinste Dorf in der Gemeinde Smallingerland in der Provinz Friesland, Niederlande. Es hatte im Januar 2017 etwa 43 Einwohner. Das Dorf wurde erstmals 1230 als Smalena erwähnt und bedeutet "schmaler Fluss". Das Doppelkloster Onser Lyewe Vrouwen Smelgeraconvent befand sich in der Nähe des Dorfes. Nach 1400 wurde es ein Benediktinerinnenkloster und wurde 1580 geschlossen.
