Wedde ist ein Dorf in der Provinz Groningen in der Gemeinde Westerwolde. Das Dorf hat 1.315 Einwohner. Es liegt an der Westerwoldse Aa. Diese ist bis zum Dorf für die Freizeitbootfahrt befahrbar. Beide Ufer der Aa liegen im Natuurnetwerk Nederland. Hier befinden sich verschiedene Naturschutzgebiete. So liegen nördlich des Hoornderwegs die Hoorndermeeden. Diese sind ebenso wie die Gebiete südlich dieses Weges, wie der Geselberg, im Besitz von Staatsbosbeheer. Rund um das Dorf sind auch noch Erlen zu erkennen.
