Diever ist ein Dorf in der niederländischen Provinz Drenthe. Es gehört zur Gemeinde Westerveld und liegt etwa 18 km nordwestlich von Hoogeveen. Diever liegt in der Nähe der Drentse Hoofdvaart, einer wichtigen Nord-Süd-Route für Freizeitboote in der Provinz Drenthe. Diever liegt neben dem Drents-Friese Wold, einem der Nationalparks in den Niederlanden, und ist eine Attraktion für Touristen. Im Zentrum von Diever befindet sich der Brink, der Dorfplatz mit alten Gebäuden, die ihn umgeben. Die niederländisch-reformierte Kirche Saint Pancratius ist ein Gebäude aus dem 15. Jahrhundert und gilt als eine der schönsten Kirchen in Drenthe.
