Bornerbroek ist ein Kirchendorf in der Twenter Gemeinde Almelo in der niederländischen Provinz Overijssel. Das Dorf hat etwa 1800 Einwohner. Bis zur Gemeindereform am 1. Januar 2001 gehörte das Dorf zur Gemeinde Borne.
Bereits im Mittelalter wird das Gebiet Bi den Broecke erwähnt. Wie das Suffix -broek andeutet, hat hier in früheren Zeiten ein Moor gelegen. Auch die hier vorhandenen Feldnamen, wie De Mors, weisen darauf hin. In der späten Mittelalter war Bornerbroek eine Bezeichnung für eine Gruppe zusammengelegter Bauernhöfe.
