Wieringerwaard ist auch der Titel eines Liedes von Rob de Nijs das er 2008 auf seinem Album Chansons sang. Es ist eine Übersetzung von Jan Rot des berühmten Stückes Les lacs du Connemara von Michel Sardou. Das ursprüngliche Lied handelt von der Region Connemara in Irland.
