Walem ist eine Straße und ein Weiler im südlichen Teil der niederländischen Provinz Limburg, gelegen auf einem Hügelplateau etwa 2,5 Kilometer östlich von Valkenburg und 1 Kilometer nördlich von Schin op Geul. Es gehört zur Gemeinde Valkenburg aan de Geul, obwohl eine Reihe unbebaute Parzellen in der Gemeinde Voerendaal liegen. Es wohnen etwa 160 Menschen.
