Termunterzijl ist ein Dorf in der Gemeinde Eemsdelta in der niederländischen Provinz Groningen. Es liegt an der Eemsmündung, östlich von Delfzijl und südwestlich von Emden. Das Dorf hat 295 Einwohner. Es gehörte von jeher zur Pfarrei Termunten. Das Dorf entstand, nachdem 1601 im Termunterzijldiep ein Schöpfwerk angelegt wurde. Hier endete auch die Stadsweg, die die Stadt Groningen über Appingedam, Farmsum und die Oosterhoek mit Ostfriesland verband, und man konnte die Reise nach Emden mit der Fähre fortsetzen.
