Termunterzijl es una aldea en el municipio de Eemsdelta en la provincia neerlandesa de Groningen. Se encuentra en la desembocadura del Eems, al este de Delfzijl y al suroeste de Emden. La aldea cuenta con 295 habitantes. Desde antaño, formaba parte de la parroquia de Termunten. La aldea se originó después de que en 1601 se construyera una esclusa en el Termunterzijldiep. Aquí también terminaba la Stadsweg que conectaba la ciudad de Groningen a través de Appingedam, Farmsum y Oosterhoek con Ostfrisia, y se podía continuar el viaje hacia Emden en transbordador.
