Termunterzijl è un paese nel comune di Eemsdelta nella provincia olandese di Groninga. Si trova alla foce dell’Eems, a est di Delfzijl e a sud-ovest di Emden. Il paese conta 295 abitanti. Apparteneva da sempre alla parrocchia di Termunten. Il villaggio è nato dopo che nel 1601 fu costruita una chiusa nel Termunterzijldiep. Qui finiva anche la Stadsweg che collegava la città di Groninga attraverso Appingedam, Farmsum e l’Oosterhoek con l’Ostfrisia e si poteva proseguire il viaggio verso Emden in traghetto.
