Wier ist ein Dorf in der Gemeinde Waadhoeke in der Provinz Friesland, Niederlande. Es hatte im Januar 2017 eine Bevölkerung von 210. Das Dorf wurde erstmals im 13. Jahrhundert als Werue erwähnt und bedeutet terp. Der terp stammt wahrscheinlich aus der Anfang unserer Ära und befand sich am Rand des Middelzee. Es war ursprünglich ein Fischerdorf und war über einen Kanal mit Berlikum verbunden.
