Nederhemert Nord-Süd im Volksmund: Nord oder Süd ist eine Fährverbindung, die seit 1480 für den Verkehr zwischen dem nördlichen und dem südlichen Teil von Nederhemert in der niederländischen Provinz Gelderland aufrechterhalten wird. Nederhemert wird durch die Afgedamde Maas, auch als die Tote Maas bekannt, in zwei Teile geteilt, die am Strandbad von Well endet, auch als das Gat bezeichnet. Nederhemert-Süd, der kleinere Teil des Dorfes, liegt zusammen mit der Bauerschaft Bern in der Gemeinde Zaltbommel auf der sogenannten Insel. Die Fährverbindung wird von der Stiftung Het Veer - Nederhemert betrieben. Die Erfahrung hat gezeigt, dass neben den Autos mehr als 80% Fußgänger und Radfahrer übergesetzt werden.
