'T Havenrak
Der Blick über das Wasser des Hafenbeckens von Broek in Waterland, offiziell 't Havenrak genannt, hat Besucher über die Jahrhunderte hinweg fasziniert. Broek war lange Zeit als ein Dorf reicher (meist Amsterdamer) Rentner und Personen bekannt, die ihr Geld an der Amsterdamer Börse verdient hatten. Bis zur Ankunft der von Amsterdam-Nord abfahrenden Nordholländischen Dampfbahn im Jahr 1888 kam fast jeder, ob Städter oder Ausländer, mit dem Schiff im Hafen von Broek an.
