Das Restaurant 'De Haven van Huizen' befindet sich in den ehemaligen 'Hangen', den Gebäuden, in denen der Fisch geräuchert wurde. Nach den Fischräuchereien wurde hier bis 1987 Keramik produziert. Zuerst von der ESKAF, der Ersten Steenwijker Kunst-Keramik-Fabrik, danach unter dem Namen HaHo und ab 1935 von der Potterie de Driehoek. Seit 1989 befindet sich das Restaurant De Haven van Huizen dort.
