Le restaurant 'De Haven van Huizen' est situé dans l'ancienne 'hangen', les bâtiments où le poisson était fumé. Après les fumeries de poisson, de la céramique a été produite ici jusqu'en 1987. D'abord par l'ESKAF, la Première Usine de Céramique de Steenwijk, puis sous le nom de HaHo et à partir de 1935 par la Poturerie de Driehoek. Depuis 1989, le restaurant De Haven van Huizen y est installé.
