Zwischen dem alten Dorf Blaricum und dem Neubaugebiet auf den alten Meenten liegt ein Naturschutzgebiet. 't Harde hat eine Fläche von 15 ha. Nirgendwo in den Niederlanden sind die Johannisbrotbäume so üppig vorhanden wie in 't Harde. Während ihrer kurzen Blütezeit im April verwandeln sie das Gebiet in ein Blumenmeer. Im Herbst färben sie sich prächtig rot.
