Hondsdonk ist ein Anwesen, das sich südlich von Ulvenhout befindet und die Verbindung zwischen der Strijbeekse Heide und den Gütern Luchtenburg und Valkenberg bildet. Das Anwesen wird bereits in einer Urkunde von 1364 erwähnt, in der von einem Bauernhof die Rede ist, der im Besitz eines gewissen Claeus van Oekel war. 1625 brannte der Bauernhof nieder und 1657 war in einer Übertragungsurkunde von einem neuen Wohnhaus, an einem leicht veränderten Standort, sowie von einer Scheune, Käfigen, einem Hof und einem Obstgarten, Äckern, Wiesen, Torfstechen, Wäldern und den umliegenden Höfen die Rede. Philibert van Borssele übertrug damals das Gut an Cornelis van Blyenburg. 1702 wurde der Hof weiter ausgebaut.
