Wilhelminasluis
Die Wilhelminasluis ist eine Schleuse im Afgedammte Maas bei Andel. Die Schleuse wurde um 1896 in dem 800 m langen Deich gebaut, der die Maas von der Waal trennt; die Schleuse sorgt dafür, dass die Schifffahrt zwischen Maas und Waal möglich bleibt. Die Schleuse (und der Deich) bilden auch einen primären Hochwasserschutz und haben eine sogenannte 'Hochwasserhöhe' von 6,8 m NHN. Die Schleuse ist immer noch in Betrieb und wird von Rijkswaterstaat Zuid-Holland, Wasserbezirk Merwede & Maas verwaltet.
