Wilhelminasluis
La Wilhelminasluis es una esclusa en el Maas represado cerca de Andel. La esclusa fue construida alrededor de 1896 en la duna de 800 m de largo que separa el Maas del Waal; la esclusa asegura que la navegación entre el Maas y el Waal siga siendo posible. La esclusa (y la duna) también forman una protección primaria contra inundaciones y tienen una llamada 'altura de inundación' de 6,8 m NHN. La esclusa aún está en funcionamiento y es administrada por Rijkswaterstaat Zuid-Holland, el distrito de agua Merwede & Maas.
