Buitenkaag ist ein Dorf in der Gemeinde Haarlemmermeer in der niederländischen Provinz Noord-Holland. Das Dorf hatte im Jahr 2021 480 Einwohner. Erst in den 1960er Jahren wurde der Name offiziell festgelegt, zuvor hieß es Leeghwaterbuurt. Es liegt am südlichsten Punkt des Poldergebiets, an den Kagerplassen. Im Nordwesten liegt Lisserbroek, im Norden Abbenes und im Osten die Weiler Huigsloot und Vredeburg. Von Buitenkaag aus kann das Dorf Kaag mit einer Fähre über die Ringvaart erreicht werden.
