Das Altena College ist eine Schule für weiterführende Bildung in Sleeuwijk. Früher war die Schule als De Wegwijzer bekannt.
Die Schule wurde 1924 als eine Mulo, die Christliche Mulo, gegründet. 1963 erhielt die Schule eine Abteilung für Meao. 1968, bei Einführung des Mammoetgesetzes, wurde die Schule zu einer Mavo, 1973 kam eine Abteilung für Havo hinzu. Ein Jahr später, 1974, wurde der Name De Wegwijzer gewählt. Die Abteilung Gymnasium folgte 1986. Die Meao wurde 1990 auf der Grundlage der geltenden Regierungsrichtlinien abgespalten. Diese ging in das heutige Da Vinci College über. Auch wurde in diesem Jahr ein neuer Name für die Schule gewählt, das Altena College.
