Il Altena College è una scuola per l'istruzione secondaria a Sleeuwijk. Un tempo la scuola era conosciuta come De Wegwijzer.
La scuola è stata fondata nel 1924 come mulo, il Mulo Cristiano, nel 1963 la scuola ha aggiunto un dipartimento meao. Nel 1968, con l'introduzione della legge Mammoet, la scuola è diventata una mavo, nel 1973 è stato aggiunto un dipartimento havo. Un anno dopo, nel 1974, è stato scelto il nome De Wegwijzer. Il dipartimento di atheneum è arrivato nel 1986. Il meao è stato separato nel 1990 sulla base delle attuali normative governative. Questo è stato incorporato nell'attuale Da Vinci College. Anche quell'anno è stato scelto un nuovo nome per la scuola, l'Altena College.
