Die Neubourgermühle lag früher in der Nähe des Schlosses Neubourg. Es wurde Getreide gemahlen, bis 1853 die Aktivitäten in eine Papiermühle etwas weiter stromabwärts verlegt wurden. Die alte Neubourgermühle wurde abgerissen und in der Nachbarschaft Pesaken wurde eine neue erbaut. Im Jahr 1905 brannte diese nieder. Der ursprüngliche Zustand wurde nicht wiederhergestellt, aber die Mühle wurde modernisiert.
Im Jahr 1930 erhielt sie einen Elektromotor, da die Wasserkraft der Gulp nicht immer ausreichte. Jahrelang stand die Mühle still. In den 1980er Jahren wurde sie restauriert. Heute ist sie die größte Wasserturbinenmühle der Niederlande, die noch in Betrieb ist und Teil des Restaurants „de Pannenkoekenmolen“ ist.
