Die Kirche stammt aus dem Jahr 1927 und ist ein bekanntes Beispiel für die Arbeit von Jan Stuyt, der als einer der wichtigsten Kirchenbauer des 20. Jahrhunderts gilt. Stuyt baute die Kirche im neoromanischen Baustil, und das ist der Hauptgrund, warum das Gebäude jetzt auf der Denkmalliste steht. Die Kirche wurde neben der alten Trudokirche errichtet, die etwa 1929 abgerissen wurde. Oben in der Fassade der Kirche steht eine Statue des Heiligen St. Trudo. Im Inneren der Kirche sind einige Kunstschätze aus dem 17. Jahrhundert zu sehen, wie alabasterne Statuen, Gemälde und geschnitzte Eichenschnitzbänke. Das Pfarrhaus neben der Kirche ist ein Herrenhaus aus dem späten 18. Jahrhundert.
