Der Bahnhof Bovenkarspel-Grootebroek liegt in der Provinz Noord-Holland an der Eisenbahnlinie von Enkhuizen nach Hoorn, an der Grenze der Dörfer Bovenkarspel und Grootebroek.
Das ursprüngliche Bahnhofgebäude stammte aus dem Jahr 1884 und war vom Standardtyp Hemmen. Der Bahnhof verfügte einst über eine umfangreiche Güterabfertigung zugunsten der neben dem Bahnhof gelegenen Gemüse- und Obstauktion De Tuinbouw. Mittlerweile sind hiervon nur die sogenannten "Landtongen" übrig geblieben. 1965 wurde das alte Bahnhofgebäude abgerissen und durch ein kleineres Gebäude mit Betonrahmen ersetzt.
