Der Wilhelminapark ist einer der ältesten Parks in Tilburg. Der Stadtpark im englischen Landschaftsstil wurde 1898 zur Feier der Thronbesteigung von Königin Wilhelmina eröffnet. Er wurde auf einem jahrhundertealten kempischen Dreieck von fünf Hektar angelegt und liegt an einem Kreuzungspunkt von Zufahrtsstraßen, damals am nördlichen Rand der Stadtbebauung, heute jedoch ziemlich zentral. Er wird von monumentalen Gebäuden aus der Blütezeit der Tilburgischen Textilindustrie umgeben, von der zweiten Hälfte des 19. Jahrhunderts bis zum Zweiten Weltkrieg. Im Design spiegelt sich das berühmte dendrologische Wissen von Leonard Springer in den vielen Arten und Sorten von Bäumen wider. Der Wilhelminapark wurde 1996 renoviert und bildet den südlichsten Teil des staatlich geschützten Aussichtspunktes Wilhelminapark/Goirkestraat.
