El parque Wilhelmina es uno de los parques más antiguos de Tilburg. El parque urbano, de estilo paisajístico inglés, se inauguró en 1898, en honor a la coronación de la reina Wilhelmina. Se creó en un antiguo triángulo de cinco hectáreas de Kempen y se encuentra en un cruce de vías de conexión, en su momento en el borde norte del desarrollo urbano, pero ahora bastante central. Está rodeado por edificios monumentales de la época de apogeo de la industria textil de Tilburg, desde la segunda mitad del siglo XIX hasta la Segunda Guerra Mundial. En el diseño se puede ver el famoso conocimiento dendrológico de Leonard Springer en las muchas especies y variedades de árboles. El parque Wilhelmina fue renovado en 1996 y forma la parte más sur del paisaje protegido por el estado Wilhelminapark/Goirkestraat.
