Lexmond ist ein Dorf in der Gemeinde Vijfheerenlanden in der Provinz Utrecht. Das Dorf entstand an der Mündung der Laak, einem kleinen Fluss, der um 1000 die Zederik mit der Lek verband. Das Wort Lexmond bedeutet daher Mündung der Laak und nicht so sehr Mündung der Lek. Bis 1986 war Lexmond eine selbstständige Gemeinde.
