Der Staring Steinbruch
Losser ist einer der wenigen Orte in den Niederlanden, an denen festes Gestein relativ nah an der Oberfläche kommt und auch zugänglich ist. Dieses Gestein, der Losser Sandstein, wurde in einer geologischen Periode namens Kreidezeit gebildet. Das ist ungefähr vor 130 Millionen Jahren.
