Die am 20. Mai 1990 eröffnete Motorsportanlage wurde von Hermann Tilke entworfen. Die Rundstrecke mit 14 Kurven ist 3254 Meter lang und liegt in einem hügeligen Waldgelände. Die Start- und Zielgerade hat eine Länge von 640 Meter. Der Höhenunterschied im Verlauf der Strecke beträgt 42 Meter. Den offiziellen bisherigen Rundenrekord mit 1:09.507 fuhr 2013 der Spanier Marc Gené mit einem Formel 1 Ferrari F138.
Rudskogen Motorsenter ist Austragungsort zahlreicher nationaler und internationaler Rennen für Automobile und Motorräder der unterschiedlichen Klassen. Die Strecke kann auch privat für Firmenveranstaltungen und Fahrausbildung gemietet werden.
