Als Gävlebocken werden zwei Julböcke bezeichnet, die jährlich im Dezember auf dem Platz Slottstorget in Gävle aufgestellt werden. Die erste, aus Stroh gebaute Figur wird am ersten Adventsonntag aufgestellt. Die große Weihnachtsgeiß wird von der Gemeinde Arbeterbaldet, Eje Berglund AB und Gävle centrumsamverkan unterstützt. Die Weihnachtsgeiß wird in den meisten Jahren durch Brandstiftung zerstört.
