Bled ist der Name einer Gemeinde am Bleder See im nordwestlichen Teil Sloweniens – wenige Kilometer südlich der österreichischen Grenze und rund 50 km nordwestlich der Hauptstadt Ljubljana gelegen. Der auf einer Höhe von etwa 500 m. i. J. gelegene Ort Bled selbst ist Luftkurort und hat 5164 Einwohner , die gesamte Gemeinde hatte 8192 Einwohner am 1. Januar 2014.
