Wat Nong Lanka ist ein großer Tempel, der nach Osten ausgerichtet und außerhalb der Stadtmauer im Aranyik (Wald) Gebiet im 14. - 15. Jahrhundert n. Chr. erbaut wurde, als Nakhon Chum das Zentrum der Verwaltung war. Er ist von einem Graben auf vier Seiten umgeben, der der buddhistischen Tradition der Lanka Wangsa folgt. Die Gebäude im Tempel sind in einem rechteckigen Plan angeordnet. Die Hauptchedi in Glockenform im Sukhothai-Stil wurde aus Ziegeln mit Nischen auf vier Seiten errichtet. Die principale Chedi besteht aus einem Grundriss mit drei zurücktretenden Ebenen in Form einer umgedrehten und nach oben geöffneten Lotusblüte, einem schlanken Körper der Chedi in Glockenform, einer quadratischen Form, die einen Thron repräsentiert, Schichten zurücktretender runder Zierprofile und einer verjüngenden Spitze.
