The Estanys de Tristaina trail in Ordino, Andorra, is a 4.4 km circular hike with moderate difficulty, taking around three hours and suitable for most walkers. Starting from the Coma car park in the Ordino Arcalís ski resort, the route ascends gently to three stunning high-mountain lakes: Estany Primer, Estany del Mig, and the largest, Estany de Més Amunt, located near the Tristaina summit. Along the way, hikers can see alpine flora, free-roaming Percheron horses, and the Arcalís 91 steel monument by Mauro Staccioli. The trail is well-marked, and summer bathing is allowed at the top lake. Access above 1,700 m is easiest from late June to September, with proper mountain equipment recommended.
