In the Heeresgeschichtliches Museum in Vienna, the suit of Franz Ferdinand of Austria is still on display with a small hole in it. This was caused by the shot that killed him in Sarajevo on June 28, 1914, which was the catalyst for World War I. With just one millimeter difference in placement, the crown prince would have survived.
