The Neydhartinger Moor is a low moor in the market town of Bad Wimsbach-Neydharting in Upper Austria. In 2005, the moor was declared a nature reserve by the Upper Austrian provincial government. The moor covers an area of about 1 km², is traversed by the Wimbach, and is located about 2.5 km southwest of the town of Bad Wimsbach-Neydharting. It was formed in the pre-Alpine moraine landscape. Over the course of several millennia, a small glacial lake from the Ice Age silted up through intense plant growth. The biomass repeatedly sank in its vegetation cycle into the water, thus forming the moor.
